Home-Food Tip #1

The Pita Number
    of Pita
 You will need Price Given$/Pita
  Tomato$0.965$0.19
  Green Pepper$0.595$0.12
  Alf-Alfa Sprouts$1.6010$0.16
  Can O' Pinapple Pieces$1.1925$0.05
  Pita Bread$1.174$0.30
 Peameal Bacon$6.5415$0.44
( or some other meat or tofu ) $12.05  $1.26

 Your Mission

Chop everything up. You will have way more than enough, but you're going to store it. Don't store wet things that will leak onto other foods in the same container or bag (ie: keep the tomatoes away from the sprouts). The first time will take the longest. The second time around was crazy-fast! I just grabbed everything I needed and put it together while I nuked my bacon. By the time I was ready for the bacon after 1.5 minutes, the bacon was ready and I chowed down. Total time including eating = 3 minutes, with no mess!

Normally, this scumptious meal of one Pita would have cost me $5.00 at The Pita Pit. Instead, I pay a quater of that (15% tax included Pita (originally $4.35, and 7% for the groceries was also included in the displayed prices). I can eat ALL the Pitas I made during the whole day (wow, that's four big pitas) for the same price. The low price of just $5.04 a day for eating. Enjoy your water because it's cheap and your body needs it.

 Conclusion

The bottleneck on this operation is through either the Pitas per bag, numbering only 4, or the price of the meat you've chosen. Meat is expensive, it's a solid half the cost in this case. You could be eating for as low as $0.82 a Pita by removing it.

There's no GST on normal groceries... so it'd be even cheaper.

Also, you've stated the obvious :P You can also make your own large pizza for about $4, and a huge ass plate of nachos for about $3. all much cheaper than delivery/pickup, but hey we're a lazy society...

...and your html skills need some fine tuning :P

Yes, and if you think it's cheap for YOU to make you a pita, just imagine what the Pita Pit pays for the ingredients!

Are we talking asthetics with respect to the HTML skills in the source code, the use of the code itself, or the asthetics of the end result of the code?
