Anesthetic Might Be Away

So... that means no change in how things currently go really. What I'm looking into is the completion of my army training and packing it on back-to-back. While I haven't made up my mind 100%, where ever I turn to look at what obstacles I have to overcome I find a definate solution. After rapidly plowing through the largest obstacles I'm realising that in the space of a week I may have fully cleared myself a dirt path.
Should this bulldozing continue I'll be slated for my infantry platoon commander course during the winter, starting probably in the middle of January. It would run until the end of April and I'd follow that up with my mechanised platoon commander course which could start as early as two weeks later, or, at the end of May. It would run until the middle or the end of August.
This would put me beyond the reserve force requirements and fully qualify me as a regular force officer. I could sign up full-time or stay reservist but the opportunity for me to serve overseas in a combat role rather than a desk job just might be better than before either way. I am seriously looking into serving in Afghanistan in any role, provided I make it through my training.
What this means to all of you, in the end, is that a large party must be thrown upon my completion of all of this training. I was hoping for something as awesome as the one we had just this last summer at monsieur Conor's. You will attend, be merry, and listen to my funny stories. I will bring my own bucket (be afraid if you know what I refer to).

Bring me back an AK-47 with terrorist blood on it please. As well as an M4/A1. It would make a wonderful Counterstrike shrine I could hang above my computer.

Woo! Pity comments and such! What part makes no sense? And we don't train on AK-47s so no bringing them back and also that would be illegal.

Dad's inticing me to take the LSAT, and perhaps pursue a full-time career as a military lawyer. For the first time in all of his suggestions I'm finding myself curious and midly interested.

if you change your mind about bringing firearms home, can i have an M82A1A please? i don't know if we use them or not, but the U.S. Marines do, so you shouldn't have any trouble tracking one down. :P
