I went to a LOTR convention...it was KICK ASS!!!

And I met the guy who played Haldir, and the guy who played Gil-galad, and I dressed up, and I got some kick ass stuff, and I nearly bought a sword, but I didn't, and the guy who played Haldir gave me a hug, and I have pictures, but they're not developed yet, and we went to Medieval Times for a banquet, and I took pictures, and we had food, and....eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! It was so much fun!

I never thought that being surrounded by that many nerds, who were dressed up like me, could be so...liberating! Everyone was really nice, and sweet, and no one thought anyone else was nutty, because we were ALL nutty, so it's all good!!! Yay for Tolkien Nuts! Hee hee hee hee!

Okay...I'll post pictures if they're good. And, for future reference, the next one's in October in Chicago...so if you be wantin' to go, start savin' now...
