Sooo...somehow, I managed to get up two hours early today and not realize it until I showed up for my 11:00 am Osteology class at 9:00am. I'm still not sure how I managed to do that.

Anyway...couple of things...

X-Men III was a complete and utter piss off. I recommend saving your money and not watching it. And Quiggles, DON'T WATCH IT! I know that the first two were the only comic book movies that you can stand, so I'll save you the pain of seeing your dreams of another good one go up in the stinky smoke of bad cliches and over-done action sequences.

Other than that...

I've been listening to 10 000 Days a lot (it being the only thing that I've been listening to for a while), and I've come to the conclusion that it is prolly my favoritest Tool album ever (this is only because I haven't really listened to the other ones except Aenima very much). It's...gorgeous.

Toodles

I've done the shown up 24-hours early more than once and not on purpose.

Winnipeg needs to learn about a band called Tool.

1) I don't like the xmen movies much, but at least they don't pretend to follow the story much and fuck it up. Even though they supposedly do some crazy ass shit in this one, it will most likely be ok.

2) Spiderman is the closest to the comic book movie I've ever seen. Let's hope they don't screw it up too much with the next one.

3) I've got the new tool album, haven't listened to it yet though. I will reserve the right to be opinionated later.

I think that movies going the root of " dark and overacted" seems to be the big trend right now. I can't say that I hated it, but I was a little too depressed when I left the show. I didn't feel very satisfied at the end. They have two spinoff's in the works "Wolverine" and "Magneto".

Oh...I was super annoyed about the treatment of Mystique, though not shocking. If I was her at the end I would have shown up at that chess board and kicked some old man ass! Okay shutting up now :P

Okay...a spinoff about Wolverine kinda makes sense...but about Magneto? That's kinda....weeeird....

Yeah, I'd heard they changed directors. That's kind of depressing, though... I didn't love the first two, but I thought the third would be kinda good... V for Vendetta is a good comic book movie, but that could be because it's not a comic book movie so much as a graphic novel movie and I don't think they stuck very close to the original. Also, Linky liked Batman, and it's a comic book movie.

*you ain't got no future, Jack*
